Living on a boat is funny. We want to sail often, but it's not rare that we are unable to sail, because of unfitting weather or any of a number of reasons. It's good to have a few hobbies that can be picked up any time with little preparation during the downtime. Jean makes jam.
I spent a couple of weeks in Guadeloupe in Febuary 2018. I went there to sail, but unfortunately the weather was not conducive to safe sailing. So I had plenty of time to learn about the island.

Some travellers I have met have their own travel websites.
Angélique is from France. She and I were planning to cross the atlantic as crewmembers of a sailboat in January 2018. Unfortunately, the plans to sail together fell through, which you can read about in I Disembarked Prematurely. But despite the change of plans, Angélique did cross the atlantic on a different boat and has been travelling in South America since.
